National Response Center

The National Response Center provides the FTA with real-time incident notification in accordance with the criteria established by the FTA. It is staffed by the U.S. Coast Guard personnel and located at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters. The National Response Center maintains a toll free telephone number and is in operation twenty-four hours each day, seven days each week, and three hundred sixty and five days per year.
