Safety & Security Technology Transfer Support

The Safety & Security Technology Program places special emphasis on the evaluation and deployment of state-of-the-art technologies and other innovative enhancements that promote public health and transit safety. The purpose of this amendment is to encourage the acceleration of technology transfer and to actively foster and disseminate research findings and best practices to transit stakeholders. Special emphasis is placed on mainstreaming state-of-the-art technologies and other innovative enhancements that promote public health and transit safety. Project activities will further the deployment of safety and security technologies to transit agencies.
