Using Foamed Asphalt as a Stabilizing Agent in Full Depth Reclamation of Route 8 in Belgrade

The Maine Department of Transportation has been using full depth reclamation (FDR) practices over the past decade as a cost effective highway rehabilitation treatment. The use of foamed asphalt to stabilize FDR has the potential to improve cost effectiveness even more. This project is evaluating test sections constructed along Rt. 8 in Belgrade, Maine.
