Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer Bonded Repair of I-65 Bridges in Louisville

Severe cracks exist at the ends of the prestressed concrete I-girders on the I-65 Bridges over Jacob, Broadway, and Gray Street in Louisville, Kentucky. Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) fabric will be used to strengthen/repair the cracks in the girders. The performance of the retrofit will be monitored and evaluated for three years.
