Management Support of the AURORA Program
AURORA is an international partnership of public agencies that work together to perform joint research activities in the area of Road Weather Information Systems (RWIS). The bulk of AURORA's members participate through an FHWA organized pooled fund, although some international members contribute financially to the program outside of FHWA's state pooled funding program. AURORA is managed through a board of directors where every contributing entity has a seat on the board. To support the board's activities, AURORA retains management support services.
