Transit Signal Priority Algorithm Development

The objective of this project is to develop a transit signal priority algorithm that would allow the development of a new generation of traffic signal priority system for public transit vehicles. A new generation of system depends on the development of an algorithm that can modify the traffic signal timing of several signalized intersections downstream of an approaching transit vehicle, allowing a better progression along a transit corridor.
