Implementation of the Smart Driver for Forestry Trucks Program

The price of fuel is increasing and forest companies are interested in pursuing fuel saving training programs to address the increase in haul costs. The researcher will be involved in the implementation of the NRCAN Smart Driver for Forestry Trucks program to forest haul contractors. Pre and post driver and vehicle performance will be evaluated with the hopes of reducing fuel consumption and green house gasses.
