Alternative to Herbicides-Integrated Vegetation Management Research Protocol

Development of assessment matrix, implement evaluation and develop recommendations for the New York Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) vegetation management program with integrated framework for incorporation of alternative methods and continual improvement. The project developed a means to comprehensively assess the criteria for effective integrated vegetation management along the right of way, conducted comprehensive literature search of alternatives to herbicides and potential alternatives to be considered and an overall summary report.
