Regionalized Channel Geomorphic Characteristics for NY Streams

In partnership with NYSDEC, NYSDOS, and USGS, the objective of this project is to develop regional hydrologic curves and regional channel geomorphic characteristics at bankfull discharge for streams of New York State by physiographic region and by Rosgen stream type to define reach characteristics for use in Department highway and bridge construction and hydrology data for analyzed stations, and regional stream channel hydraulic geometry models will be published as annual or semi-annual reports and will be available on the USGS New York District web site.
