Analysis of Permeability of Kentucky's Hot Mix Pavements
The objectives of this study are to: (1) review the state of the art on the Superpave permeability issue; (2) investigate the relationship between permeability and pavement performance; (3) investigate different strategies to address the high permeability issue on pavement performance using Superpave mixtures; (4) recommend appropriate solutions to the permeability issue based on the analysis of different strategies; and (5) recommend adjustments on current specifications to address the permeability issue.
