Freight Component of the Washington Transportation Plan
The overall approach of this project was to develop specific information on relevant industrial/geographic sectors in the Washington economy, relative to transportation usage, transportation needs and issues/problems existing in the sectors. The overall work will explain the economic rationale and structure of each sector, the freight flows and characteristics within and in/out of these sectors, the needs for improved freight movement and issues that arise in answering these needs.
