TRAC Support for the WSDOT/FMSIB Benchmark Study
Washington State Transportation Center (TRAC) will provide continued technical support to the Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Boards (FMSIB) Benchmark program. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is completing the program for FMSIB. This support will allow TRAC to continue to participate in ongoing data collection that is used to measure truck movements along specific roadway corridors selected by the FMSIB and WSDOT. TRAC will then participate in the analysis of the collected data and provide input into the creation of freight benchmarks based on those data. The overall intent of the program is to deign and test a methodology for evaluating the performance of roadway projects selected for improvement by the FMSIB.
