KYTC's Digital Project Delivery Initiative

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Digital Project Delivery (DPD) Initiative is shifting the agency toward widespread use of electronic engineering data (EED) generated during design. Leveraging EED throughout asset life cycles requires KYTC to closely attend to data collection and quality management practices, which themselves are undergoing rapid changes as computational technologies grow more sophisticated. Because programmatic change is not possible without training support associated with software testing and adoption, this project will build on DPD-related work completed over the last five years to innovate in the areas of agency work-flows and data exchanges.
