Resilient Software-Defined Vehicle Platform Architectures with Secure Live Migration

Modern vehicles use software-defined vehicle (SDV) platforms that integrate functions via virtualization, but current designs lack resiliency against security incidents or hardware obsolescence. This project aims to enhance vehicle security by developing and evaluating secure live migration techniques for virtual machine (VM)-based workloads. By allowing actively running services to move between electronic control units (ECUs) without interruption, the project enables real-time upgrades and mitigation of cyberattacks within next-generation zonal architectures.
