Evaluation of Air Convection Embankment (ACE) and Alpine Revegetation Techniques

This research will evaluate the performance and success of a highway construction technique designed to protect Colorado’s sensitive high alpine environment. It leverages prior research and data, and will evaluate recovery of permafrost, hydrologic flow across the right-of-way, and recovery of sensitive vegetation.
