Leveraging Connected Vehicle Data for Enhanced Highway Safety Modeling and Decision-Making
The primary objective of this project is to assess the utility and reliability of connected vehicle data (CVD) in safety modeling and analysis, either as a supplement to or a substitute for traditional crash data where appropriate. This assessment will be conducted across a range of roadway designs and traffic control settings, dependent on the geospatial availability of CVD.
