Cracking Resistance of Alaskan Asphalt with RAP Material

This research project aims to investigate the impact of reclaimed asphalt pavements (RAP) and rejuvenators on cracking performance of Alaskan hot mix asphalt (HMA) materials containing RAP and to develop a method to estimate RAP content for a given mix. Potential cost savings of up to 36% could be achieved when using the correct RAP combinations.
