I-STREET: Advancing Emerging Technologies Collaborations
The objective of this project is to build on the strategic plan developed in the previous project (BED31-977-06, Support for the I-STREET Testbed) and execute the identified action items to progress the I-STREET initiative in all four directions previously identified: (1) research, development and deployment of innovative mobility and safety solutions; (2) outreach to public agencies; (3) education and workforce development; and (4) industry collaborations. Conducting these activities will allow the expansion of the emerging transportation technology ecosystem in Florida and address growing mobility and safety needs. It will also promote technology and workforce development elements.
