Development of a Project-Scale Air Quality Screening Tool
This project’s goal is to estimate air pollution levels associated with transportation projects through various pollutants such as carbon monoxide, ozone, particulate matter and greenhouse gases. Researchers will develop an analysis tool for Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) to estimate project-specific air pollution levels. Development of the analysis tool will allow IDOT and its partners to better estimate and improve transportation-related emissions.
