How Safe and Healthy is Your Transit Access?: An In-Depth Study of Pedestrian, Bicyclist, and Scooter Collisions Around Transit Stations in Auto-Dominated San Diego, California
This research project is part of a broader endeavor on behalf of the Center for Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety (CPBS) to shed light on pedestrian, bike, scooter, and skateboard access to public transit facilities in the State of California. This project will seek to determine relationships between the built environment and travel mode of transit, and the rate of traffic-related deaths and injuries around public transit facilities. This specific project will focus on the Greater San Diego County region.
