Development of Colorado-specific Safety Performance Functions (SPF) and Diagnostic Norms for Roundabouts
This project will estimate model parameters and diagnostic norms of Colorado roundabouts. Roundabout types prevalent in Colorado will be identified and crash and traffic volume data will be collected for each. Following data collection model parameters will be estimated using statistical modeling techniques similar to other Colorado Safety Performance Functions (SPF) models for intersections.
