USGS StreamStats Digital Elevation Model and Rural Regression Equation Update
This research focuses on increasing the resolution of the geographic information system (GIS) base layers that StreamStats uses to estimate peak flow statistics in Ohio and then updating the peak-flow equations based on the new base layers. This increase in resolution and update to the peak-flow equations will increase the usefulness of the StreamStats application and the accuracy of the peak-flow estimates computed by StreamStats.
