Use Network Level Texture to Enhance Pavement Management

The research teams will evaluate the use of texture data currently available in the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Pavement Analyst software as collected by TxDOT’s third-party vendor (the vendor) and will assess the accuracy of data (mean profile depth (MPD) and raw profile used to calculate MPD) and provide guidance on applications and uses of the data.
