Down-the-Hole Drilling Acoustic Research
This research will address down-the-hole (DTH) drilling noise impacts to marine mammals. Tasks for this research include a thorough literature review on relevant information on DTH drilling, a review of the Sound Source Verification Study Plans and data collection, analysis of the data collected, a draft and final report summarizing the results including recommendations on how to use the data going forward.
