FDOT Engagement of Universities, Fall 2022
This project will research Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT's) partnering and contracting with state universities and compile a list of those relationships for FDOT. The assessment should be comprehensive and, if not exhaustive, deeply representative of the various types of engagement; to identify depth and reach of partnering, by type of agreement and activity. There are at least three main categories of engagement: (1) RD&T, (2) contracted expertise for operational functions, and (3) workforce development, and these are themselves loaded with subcategories of activity.
