Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Traffic Railings for Impact Loading, Phase II - Slip Forming
The objective of this research is to evaluate the slip forming methodology with the developed mix design using a ready-mix company for the whole mixing operation. The research team will coordinate with a contractor who can provide use of a slip forming machine and cast some mockup traffic railings using the developed mix design. Constructability and fiber dispersion would be evaluated based on the outcome of the mockup(s).
