Explore the Use of Tele-operated or Autonomous Vehicles (TAVs) in Active Incident Management
The main goal of the research project is to customize an existing autonomous vehicle technology to develop the Tele-operated or Autonomous Vehicle (TAV) for the use case to remotely activate, operate, and serve as an auxiliary support vehicle to RRSP. The primary objective of this project is to understand the feasibility or applicability of the remotely controlled and autonomous system to enhance operational or safety benefits for active incident management in Florida.
