SPR-4753: Implementation Grant: Feld Implementation of Concrete Strength Sensor to Determine Optimal Traffic Opening Time

The purpose of this implementation project is to develop the standard testing procedures and protocols for field implementation of concrete strength sensor developed at Purdue and Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT). The properties that will be monitored include the set time and strength development profile of concrete structures. A detailed cost/benefit analysis of this method along with a set of recommendation for traffic opening time and maintenance schedule will be conducted during the program.
