Real-Time Traffic Signal System Performance Measurement – Phase III System Integration, Intersection Deployment and Control Center Dashboard Development

In the proposed third phase, the research team will focus on (1) evaluate RSU/OBU data with ground truth data, (2) validate pedestrian safety alert logic, such as alerts generated versus actual push-button status, (3) compare before and after condition through conflict data analysis. As a supplement to the proposed third phase, the proposed Phase IIIA will conduct research and development on creating a dashboard application for visualizing and QA/QC (Quality Assess and Quality Control) of the real-time traffic signal performance metrics and CV messages from the ATSPM and deployment sites.
