Developing a Knowledge-Based System for Guiding Design, Operations, and Evaluation of Highway Work Zones.
This study presents the development of a comprehensive knowledge-based work zone system/ tool that can provide the essential information and design guide to responsible traffic engineers. This will enhance their knowledge and provide design guidance. It will also help in effectively conducting alternative analysis in comparing different work zone designs.
