Benchmarking the Laboratory Performance of Florida Mix Designs
The objective of this project is to test a large number of mix designs of all mixture types, binder types, and aggregate sources currently used for Department projects. The mixture types are SP 19.0, SP-12.5, SP-9.5, FC-12.5 and FC-9.5. Five different PMD tests will be used for mixture evaluation. With the PMD data, baselines for each test can then be established in which future mix designs using the PMD approach would not be permitted to fall below.
