AASHTO Design Guidance for UHPC Structures
Ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) is a class of concrete that offers unique opportunities to reconsider the design, construction, and performance of highway structures. UHPC-class materials are available; the related specifications that allow for consistent use are lacking. FHWA is working with AASHTO's Concrete Bridge Committee to develop the needed structural design guidance for UHPC structures. FHWA is leveraging its years of experience in this topic area to quickly deliver the requested content.
