Assisting AASHTO in Clarifying and Improving the Application of Bridge Redundancy and Robustness (continuation)

This research will develop recommendations to assist AASHTO COBS T-5 in proposing improved redundancy practice. This includes application of the redundancy and robustness in steel bridges, concrete bridges, inspection, and those related to extreme events. Additional meeting(s) will be held to engage COBS members and the industry to assist AASHTO in substantiating the recommendation from the previous workshop and lay out a roadmap to achieve better practice in bridge redundancy and robustness.
