Application of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in FDOT Safety and Transportation System Management and Operational (TSM&O) Programs
The overall research objective is to evaluate artificial intelligence (AI) - ITMS technologies in dynamic crash prevention and video analytics (particularly incident management) in Florida. Overall objective is to understand state-of-the-art AI technologies in traffic management, including available and emerging technologies for traffic management, applications of AI ITMC, and impacts of AI technologies on safety and mobility. Also, provide recommendations for implementing the two AI technologies in Florida traffic management.
