Connecticut Department of Transportation Integrated Mobility Innovation Demonstration Grant Application for Testing and Deployment of Automated Buses on Connecticut Fastrak
The Connecticut Department of Transportation will test automated, electric buses on its CTfastrack bus rapid transit corridor to improve safety for riders with disabilities. Precision, automated docking and platooning will eliminate driver errors that result in wide platform gaps and other unsafe situations and also will reduce delays.
