Updating and Deploying the Integrated Transportation Information Platform (ITIP)
Integrated Transportation Information Platform (ITIP) supports integrated data analysis. The 2020 activities include (a) adding functions to support the TPM public information display, (b) updating the ITIP IT platform and functionalities to improve its computational and display speed, (c) deploying the ITIP platform with one-third of Division Offices to improve program review, (d) exploring partnerships with other federal and quasi-governmental agencies to acquire alternative roadway data to expand our knowledge of the nation’s roadway infrastructure, (e) initiating a project to explore additional roadway attribute data from public or private data sources.
