Risk Mitigation and Service Recovery for Public Transit in Rural and Small Urban Areas in Alabama
The purpose of this project is to design innovative solutions that improve the operational efficiency of transit agencies, as well as enhance the mobility of transit users affected by the COVID-19 public health emergency. The project focuses on expanding and enhancing Alabama's transit agencies current ability to respond to COVID-19, with the goal of developing new innovations for field implementation in the areas of disinfection, exposure mitigation, contactless payments and public confidence.
