Contactless Payments with Electronic Verification

As part of Transpo's and the Interurban Trolley's commitment to innovative solutions, the Contactless Payment project will allow each agency to implement a new, contactless payment option for riders. By streamlining the boarding process the operational efficiency of each route will improve. In addition, the contactless payment option will reduce the contact between operators, riders and the farebox, adding another layer of safety and security during the COVID-19 pandemic.
