Integrate CARMA platform into the HDS (Highway Driving Simulator)

This project would entail software analysis, planning, and integration of the HDS and CARMA platform, so that the HDS would be capable of testing ADS (Automated Driving Systems), Cooperative ADS, as well as manual vehicles. This would create the CARMA Simulation capability which would enable a more robust simulation testing environment (e.g., Hardware in the Loop, traffic simulation, and participant testing) for ADS, and better sharing and use of data between the CARMA Platform, CARMA Cloud, and V2X Hub. The project would include software analysis, software design and development, and software implementation and testing to support ADS and Cooperative Automation TSMO Strategies.
