Assessment of Automotive Predictive Maintenance Best Practices And application for ADS Vehicles

For automated driving system (ADS) vehicles, where failure of a component can have severe safety implications, ISO 26262 and related functional safety requirements demand high reliability and in some instances redundancy for many components. This study will compliment project 180 by exploring if and how reliability centered maintenance concepts can be applied to safety critical vehicle components to minimize in-use failures.
