Introductory Research into AI Uses in ADAS & ADS Technologies (Including Development-Stage and Deployed Systems)

This project involves research to understand if/how artificial intelligence (AI) is being implemented today, or used in prototype testing; or concepts for using it in future vehicles. The research would address challenges it presents for assessing safety performance over lifetime of the vehicle. It would also review how other industries using AI in deployed products or systems is addressing both initial product/system operational evaluations as well as performance monitoring over the lifecycle of the product/system.
