Innovative Methods to Strengthen Internal KYTC Communications
Well-run agencies grasp the importance of efficient, streamlined communications. Establishing methods for internal communication, clearly defining communication channels, and instituting a policy governance system (i.e., an internal process for updating policy documents and organizational processes) are critical for an agency to operate effectively, pursue strategic goals, and fulfill mandates. KYTC currently lacks a written internal communications plan. This project will document best practices for internal agency communications and recommend innovative methods for KYTC to strengthen communication among its staff. Methods will address both workplace processes and policies.
