NCHRP Implementation Support Program. Supporting State DOT Adoption of Knowledge Management Practices

NCHRP Project 20-44(45), “Supporting State DOT Adoption of Knowledge Management Practices,” provides materials and resources to support agencies in implementing the guidance for knowledge management (KM) practices established in NCHRP Report 813: A Guide to Agency-Wide Knowledge Management for State Departments of Transportation; NCHRP Project 20-68A, Scan 12-04 Report: “Advances in Transportation Knowledge Management;” and a case study template developed by the AASHTO Committee on Knowledge Management (CKM). The materials and resources were developed based on surveys at state departments of transportation (DOTs), case studies, and documentation of KM practices at various agencies. The materials and resources will allow state DOT staff to assess their current KM practices and to identify state DOT-specific strategies.
