Knowledge Transfer of Lessons Learned From ACRP Product Implementation
ACRP has successfully developed research-based, implementable, and practical solutions to solve airport industry issues and challenges. Airports and other organizations have implemented (either partially or in total) ACRP products, gaining insights along the way. ACRP has begun to focus on facilitating and expediting the implementation of products. Airport practitioners have benefited from ACRP products by improving planning and preparedness, compliance with regulations, safety, and operational efficiency. Users have downloaded ACRP products to get a new idea or effective practice, validate current practice, or to help recommend or make a management decision. There is an opportunity for users of ACRP products to share their experiences and lessons learned with others to facilitate broader implementation. The objective of this research is to identify organizations or individuals who have implemented ACRP products at or for airports, and sort those products into similar categories, and develop a workshop plan with similar products.
