MPC Tribal Transportation Training and Technology Transfer Program
Mountain-Plains Consortium (MPC) is continuing its tribal transportation training and outreach program. Tribal nations have been heavily impacted by COVID-19. Their abilities to pay for training is limited. MPC's training and technology transfer program brings much needed technical assistance to tribal nations in road safety, maintenance, planning, and other transportation related activities at no cost to them. In many cases, high-priority training that has already been identified for county and local governments will be provided to tribal nations in a context sensitive manner. In addition, specific training topics will be developed for tribal nations to address specific challenges faced by these communities.
