SPR-4632: Steel Bridge Coating Evaluation and Rating Criteria

The primary purpose is to evaluate the coating evaluation techniques used for steel bridges in different state DOTs to determine the optimal coating assessment technique for use in Indiana. The research will also examine the various coating systems used by DOTs throughout the US, and it will collect information on possible maintenance painting options that can be implemented to repair localized regions of coating deterioration and thereby extend the life of the coating system until the overall coating system needs to be replaced.
