Legal Aspects of Transit and Intermodal Transportation Programs. Topic 21-01. Update of Legal Research Digests Regarding Civil Rights, Privacy, and Other Related Digests
Since the publication of several legal research digests that address various aspects of civil rights, the Americans with Disabilities Act, privacy, and other related topics, there have been a number of changes in transportation law and practice. Consequently, there is a need to update those relevant digests and create a compendium to enable legal practitioners and others to have one document in which they can locate updated information on the various topics covered by the legal research digests in this field of study. The objective of this project is to: (1) update and consolidate various legal research digests that have dealt with civil rights, the Americans with Disabilities Act, privacy, and other related topics into one compendium (Part 1); and (2) to update the Selected Studies in Transportation Law: Volume 5 (Transit Law), Section 10, entitled, “Civil Rights” (Part 2).
