SPR-4642: Effectiveness of Contrast Markings on Roadways and Orange Markings in Work Zones
This project will quantify the safety and operational benefits of different pavement marking types that will allow for better decision making at the state level. Crash reductions from this project have the potential to save lives and reduce the costs to the economy. This project will also develop formal guidelines and design standards for contrast pavement markings and orange markings in work zones.
