Impacts of Connected Vehicles and Automated Vehicles on State and Local Transportation Agencies--Task-Order Support. Equity Impacts of Shared AVs on Transportation Disadvantaged Communities

The objective of this NCHRP project is to compile research and policy recommendations from studies, such as listed above, that provide insight to the opportunities and challenges associated in improving transportation equity as the market share of AVs increases. The outcome of this study will be a compilation of policy recommendations for decision makers that may lead towards a more intentionally equitable deployment of AVs.
