SPR-4639: Connected Vehicle Centric Dashboards for TMC of the Future
INDOT has expanded the use of connected vehicle data to develop maps of vehicle speeds, hard braking events, and integrate intelligent transportation systems (ITS) assets such as cameras. The penetration of connected vehicles in Indiana now generates over 10 billion records per month. Specialized tools have been developed on Purdue servers to facilitate real time processing of this data. This project continues the development and implementation of those dashboards across multiple areas of the agency.
